EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

This is a great opportunity for a highly regarded professional wanting to play a leading role in a boutique investment company. Ashington’s focus is on strategic SME investment, business advisory services and property investment and development.

 

Person Specification

  • Experience in executive secretarial and administrative support
  • An ability to work independently and highly motivated
  • Excellent skills in all aspects of MS Office
  • An ability to be flexible in your thinking and adaptable in a fast moving and sometimes pressured environment
  • Strong communication skills, problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail, have a ‘right first time’ approach to your work
  • Existing experience in the investment management, banking, accounting or advisory sector would be beneficial
  • Ability and desire to work in a small team, in an entrepreneurial environment

 

Job Specification

  • Provide secretarial, administrative and marketing support to the Executive Assistant and Managing Director
  • Establish and Manage Standard Procedure Instructions (SPI’s)
  • General management of files, filing systems and databases
  • Assist in project management in areas such as property, public and private equity investment and feasibility projects

 

Overall

This role will ideally suit a person experienced in a corporate office, secretarial, administration environment wishing to work in a part time role combining their professional career with their lifestyle requirements.

To be successful in this position you will need to be a well organised individual, possess strong communication skills, attention to detail as well as an ability and desire to work in a small business environment.
